釜山是韩国第二大城市与最大港口, 地处朝鲜半岛东南端, 自古便是对海交通与贸易的重镇。其名源于形似釜(锅)的山丘, 近代随港口开埠迅速发展为工业与航运中心。

Busan is Korea's second-largest city and biggest port, at the south-eastern tip of the peninsula and a key hub of maritime traffic and trade since ancient times. Its name comes from a hill shaped like a cauldron; with the opening of the port in modern times it grew rapidly into an industrial and shipping centre.
During the Korean War Busan served as a provisional capital and took in many refugees, giving rise to hillside settlements such as Gamcheon. Today it is famed for its coastal scenery, film culture and bustling markets, and the Busan International Film Festival has made it one of Asia's film capitals.
Gamcheon Culture Village climbs the hillside in layers of colourful houses, its alleys filled with murals and sculptures, earning it the name the Santorini of Korea.
Haeundae is Busan's most famous beach, with soft sand ringed by city high-rises; the Nurimaru APEC House and light shows on Dongbaek Island and the night view of Gwangan Bridge from Gwangalli beach each have their own charm.
Jagalchi Market is Korea's largest seafood market, lively with freshly picked and prepared seafood; Nampo-dong and Gwangbok-ro are shopping and food streets, while the Taejongdae sea cliffs and the ancient Beomeosa temple suit a climb or quiet contemplation.
Coastal route: Haeundae beach → Nurimaru APEC House on Dongbaek Island → the night view of Gwangan Bridge → the Taejongdae sea cliffs on Yeongdo.
Artsy route: Gamcheon Culture Village → Nampo-dong → seafood at Jagalchi Market → shopping on Gwangbok-ro.

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) bring mild weather and clear skies, best for seaside strolls and hiking.
Summer (July to August) allows swimming but is hot, humid and rainy; the autumn film festival draws large crowds, and winter is cold and dry. Check the weather before you go.

Busan est la deuxième ville et le plus grand port de Corée, à la pointe sud-est de la péninsule, un carrefour clé du trafic maritime et du commerce depuis l'Antiquité. Son nom vient d'une colline en forme de chaudron ; avec l'ouverture du port à l'époque moderne, elle est devenue rapidement un centre industriel et maritime.
Pendant la guerre de Corée, Busan fut capitale provisoire et accueillit de nombreux réfugiés, donnant naissance à des villages à flanc de colline comme Gamcheon. Aujourd'hui elle est réputée pour ses paysages côtiers, sa culture du cinéma et ses marchés animés, et le Festival international du film de Busan en a fait l'une des capitales du cinéma en Asie.
Le village culturel de Gamcheon s'étage sur la colline en maisons colorées, ses ruelles emplies de fresques et de sculptures, ce qui lui vaut le surnom de Santorin de la Corée.
Haeundae est la plage la plus célèbre de Busan, au sable fin ceint de gratte-ciel ; la maison Nurimaru APEC et les spectacles de lumière de l'île Dongbaek, ainsi que la vue nocturne du pont Gwangan depuis la plage de Gwangalli, ont chacun leur charme.
